Art
In Art, all children will produce creative work, exploring their ideas and recording their experiences. Within each unit of work, children will follow the structure 'Notice, Wonder and Create'. This will ensure children are fully exploring and understanding the skill and/or knowledge they are learning. Their skills and knowledge will grow and develop as they progress through the school.
Children will become proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art, craft and design techniques. They will learn to analyse and evaluate creative works using the language of art, craft and design and will learn about and appreciate a range of great artists, craft makers and designers. They will also begin to understand the historical and cultural development of each artists art forms.
